Interview with INFINITE DEFILEMENT

Answer by: Jacob

1. Whats up Jacob?hows it goin?Happy new year bro!HOws your holiday man?Sorry if i send my interview late.hehehe..
No probs bro i was on vacation anyway. Happy new year to you also.

2. Can you state a little history of Infinite Defilement?
I started ID as a one man project in late 2007. At first it was just a muck around idea but after alot of good feedback from fans I decided to make it a serious project. I self released my first demo titled 'Perpetual Desecration of Being' in early 2008 and then collaborated in a 3 way split with 2 other one man bands, Egemony (Italy) & Flesh Impaled (Northen Ireland) that was released in October 2008 by Sevared Records and my promo cd was released in the same month also by Sevared Records. My LP will be released by Texan label DFP late this month or early Feb. I am now planning for future releases with a real drummer.

3. How did you came up with your name? What inspires or Who inspires to make this band?
The name just came to me very easily. I like the name because it doesnt just restrict me to the gore theme. The name could also fit other styles of death metal.

4. Why didnt you find more members bro?Why you choose to be One man band?
I didnt know anyone who could play drums very well and I am very fussy with what I want with my music and I would probly drive other members insane, hehe.

5. Whats Infinite Defilement top influences bro?
My top influences would be Deeds of Flesh, Saprogenic, Viral load, Cephalotripsy etc. I have taken influence from almost every band I have listened to.

6. Rather than brutal death metal bands, do you have also other influences or diggin up to like black metal,trash,hardcore,etc..?or do you have some all-time favorites from old artists?
My first metal albums would have been Metallica 'Ride The Lightning' & Machine Head 'Burn My Eys'. I also like Disturbed very much. Other bands I like that are not metal are, Xavier Rudd (Aus), Ben Harper & Bob Marley.

7. Are you also playing some shows bro?like deathfest?metalfest?
Na, shows are not possible for me. My job is full time and I am currenlty renovating my new house. Maybe one day when I get a full lineup I will do some shows. Respect to one man bands who play live!

8. In your freetime bro what are you doing?do you have any other side projects?
No other side projects bro. My free time is playing music, renovating/building, drinking piss & spending time with my girlfriend of nearly 8 years.

9. In your upcoming full-lenght bro, what will be our gonna watch for?
My full length has much more diverse songs and some sick samples and even has a few solos. Also it will have a bonous track with real drums and a track with some guest vocals from other sick bands.

10.Any last words bro??
Cheers for this review bro and thanks to everyone who has ever stuck by my band. Be sure to check my LP because it will be fucking sick!!

Thanks for the Answering my interview bro..
All the best to Infinite Defilement this year!!Cheers
